Donald Trump assassination attempt recreated digitally (shocking)

The recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally has exposed significant security failures, prompting a federal investigation.

And a new digital recreation of the moment Trump was grazed by the shooter has gone viral by showing just how close the 2024 Republican presidential nominee was to being murdered.

Minutes before the shooting, local police had reports of a suspicious man nearby, and witnesses repeatedly warned of an armed individual on a nearby roof.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, still managed to position himself on a rooftop approximately 150 yards from Trump before opening fire with a rifle. A countersniper quickly neutralized Crooks, but not before the attack claimed one life, left two others critically wounded, and nearly killed the 45th president.

Take a look at the shocking 3D digital recreation of the bullet striking Trump’s right ear —

The incident has raised serious questions about the Secret Service’s preparedness.

Stan Kephart, a former police chief with experience in presidential security, called it “an absolute and abysmal failure” on the agency’s part.

The Biden administration’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas acknowledged the lapse and announced an independent review.

Local law enforcement’s role has also come under scrutiny. A Butler Township police officer encountered Crooks on the roof but was unable to take action when the gunman pointed his weapon at him. Sheriff Michael Slupe defended local officers, stating they “did everything that they could.”

The FBI is investigating the attack as an act of domestic terrorism, though a clear ideological motive has still not been identified. Investigators believe Crooks acted alone and purchased 50 rounds of ammunition on the day of the attack. The rifle used was reportedly purchased by Crooks’ father.

Security experts have questioned why a building so close to the stage wasn’t secured from the outset. Patrick Brosnan, a former NYPD detective, emphasized the importance of a “circular band of protection” for such high-profile events.
