Former President Barack Obama likes to portray himself as a squeaky-clean politician who played by the rules.
But Americans now know that this is the furthest thing from the truth.
He signed off on BILLIONS in payments to Iran as secret ransom for American hostages… armed Mexican cartels through the disastrous “Fast and Furious” program… and his top lackeys even shut down an investigation into drug running on American soil by terror group Hezbollah.

And now another shoe has dropped…
Because the Obama Administration has just been caught red-handed trying to SABOTAGE President Trump before he spent a single day in office.
So much for an orderly democratic transition, right?
Through a Freedom of Information Act request, government watchdog Judicial Watch has uncovered heavily redacted State Department documents that show a flurry of activity before Trump was sworn-in in 2017.
In the days leading up to Trump’s inauguration, the Obama State Department was busy with a furious campaign to distribute salacious allegations of Russia interfering in the 2016 presidential election.

The main senators targeted, according to Judicial Watch, were Trump enemies Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), and Sen. Robert Corker (R-TN).
Much of the information disseminated was classified.
The documents obtained by Judicial Watch show the Obama Administration was transmitting information to senators, and trying to undermine Trump, up until 24 hours before Trump was inaugurated.
“We made the deadline!” a top-ranking State Department official wrote in one email. “Thank you everyone for what was truly a Department-wide effort!”
A department-wide effort to do what? Sabotage an incoming administration with unproven, merit-less allegations?

The official Obama Administration line is that they were concerned that Trump would try to shut down an investigation into Russian election interference.
But Trump has made no move to do that. And we now know that many of the allegations about Russian collusion came from a discredited “dossier” funded by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
And to this day, after more than a year and a half of investigation, there’s been no proof whatsoever that the Trump campaign coordinated efforts with Russia.
Obama’s State Department was engaged in an effort to spread Clinton talking points and discredit Trump, a democratically elected new president, before he ever stepped foot in the Oval Office.
It’s the kind of behavior that makes average Americans distrust the government — and should make us never forget that Obama was not the honorable leader me makes himself out to be.
