California Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., is reportedly “laser-focused” on information concerning the investigation and impeachment of President Donald Trump that overshadowed the first three years of his presidency.
And on Fox News, Nunes hinted that there’s a bombshell coming soon.
Nunes, a star Trump defendant in the Democrat-led impeachment, has set his sights on the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) actions during the 2016 presidential election.
He claimed in a recent Fox News interview that retracing the origins of the Russian hoax has led him to the CIA, which supplied the FBI with information in 2016.
” … that the CIA gave information over to the FBI in 2016,” he said “We now are laser-focused on that. We need to know: Exactly what did the CIA give to the FBI in 2016?”

So the question now is: What exactly did the CIA hand over to the FBI?
That remains a mystery outside of Congress… for now.
What is known is that Nunes’ announcement of renewed focus comes fresh off the heels of reports that former director CIA John Brennan, who left his post in 2017 along with former President Barack Obama, is being investigated for his role in the Russia hoax at all levels.

The Washington Examiner reported on Apr. 3. that Durham was putting “increased scrutiny” on Brennan for his potential role in the origin of the Russian investigation.
Both Nunes and Durham seem confident they’re on the verge of proving that it was indeed Brennan who led the rest of the intelligence community, such as former FBI bosses James Comey and Andrew McCabe.
The revelation comes roughly a year after it was rumored that Brennan encouraged the spread of the now-debunked Christopher Steele dossier; last year Watergate journalist Bob Woodward said he thought that the CIA was behind it all.
Around the same time, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky. testified under oath, saying Brennan –– according to a high-level source –– defended the Steele dossier without verifying its legitimacy behind closed doors.
The Examiner also reports that Durham has already interviewed a handful of CIA representatives regarding Brennan.
Nunes’ announcement is a milestone marker in retracing the origins of the Deep State hoax, which Republicans promised they’d carry out as a response to the Democrats impeachment earlier this year.
