President Joe Biden is facing a revolt from inside his own party.
Rasmussen has Biden’s daily approval numbers 27 points underwater, and polls show about two out of every three Democrats wants someone other than Biden to run for president in 2024.
But while most Americans think Biden has driven America in the wrong direction, his party’s progressives think Biden hasn’t been liberal enough. Now, a new poll shows what Democrats would like to do if they ever got into power themselves.
A shocking new survey finds that the majority of Biden voters say the Constitution reeks of racism, the Supreme Court is sexist, and the UN should be able to overturn decisions about the U.S. Constitution whenever it wants to.
Earlier this month, pollsters with Rasmussen asked more than 1,000 voters a handful of questions about America — not day-to-day politics but deep, structural issues. They found out Democrats want to do nothing less than dismantle the United States, piece by piece.
A majority (54 percent) of voters who strongly approve of the job Joe Biden is doing agree that the Constitution “should be mostly or completely rewritten.”
The Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade is one of the lower priorities for Americans suffering from 1970s-style inflation—but it’s a top issue for Democrats, and the poll tells us one thing: They’re angry, and they want revenge.
A whopping 56 percent of all Democrats and 61 percent of liberals say the Supreme Court is “racist” by its nature. Even more—two-thirds of Democrats and 71 percent of liberals—say the High Court is “fundamentally sexist.”
Not liking the Supreme Court is one thing; their plans are something else.
Two out of three Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court. They don’t think it’s fair that conservatives make up a majority of justices, just because Republicans won six presidential elections and waited 50 years for the case to come back up.
Rasmussen found that 67 percent of Democrats want to change the number of justices from nine to 13, giving Joe Biden the chance to appoint four brand new judicial activists to the court all at once.
“There is absolutely a movement afoot, principally among leftists and America’s youth, who desire to ‘reimagine’ the Supreme Court so that it will become nothing more than a rubber stamp for their radical agenda,” warned Chris Talgo of Heartland.
What if the Democrats can’t pack the court? They want a world government to overrule it.
Rasmussen asked whether voters would support “a constitutional amendment that would give the United Nations the authority to reverse U.S. Supreme Court decisions that U.N. members believe violate human rights?”
About 40 percent of Democrats and liberals said they’d be happy to hand the UN veto power over the United States.
“The Constitution has served as the bedrock for liberty in America for more than 230 years.” said Kendal. “President Calvin Coolidge once said, ‘To live under the American Constitution is the greatest political privilege that was ever accorded to the human race.’ It is a shame that half of self-identified Democrats want to throw that privilege away because of their disdain for the current perceived political landscape.”
But one thing the poll shows is just how out-of-touch Democratic voters are. Only 34 percent of Americans say the Supreme Court is racist; 55 percent of Americans say the Supreme Court is not sexist and oppose court-packing; and just over one in four American citizens want the UN to make decisions about the U.S. Constitution.
“A clear majority of likely voters holds a favorable opinion of our highest legal body, rejects the notion that it is inherently racist or sexist, and supports its current institutional characteristics that favor impartiality and independence,” said Jack McPherrin, an editor at Heartland.
But the Democratic Party base wants what it wants—and it thinks Biden’s keeping it from happening, so they want him gone.
The Sunday New York Times ran a front-page story titled “At 79, Biden is Testing the Boundaries of Age and the Presidency.”
Columnist Pat Buchanan compared the hostile story from a left-wing newspaper to “a severed horse’s head under his bed covers” from the movie The Godfather. “Message: Time’s up, Joe. Time to go. Second term is out.”
The Times followed that up with a subheadline on Monday saying, “”Polls Show Most Want New ’24 Candidate, as Pessimism Becomes Pervasive.”
Buchanan warns Biden that soon his competitors, like Vice President Kamala Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsom, “are going to begin behaving as what they are: contenders for Joe’s job, whether he runs or not.”
And now we know exactly the message they’re going to bring to Democratic voters—and the radical leftist agenda they’re going to bring down on all Americans if they win in 2024.
