Judgment day may be quickly coming for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a leading Democrat and former star of the liberal media.

The knives are quickly turning inward on the once-celebrated governor after top politicians in his home state of New York are calling for him to leave office — including top Democrats.

Rep. Kathleen Rice, D-N.Y. announced on Twitter that the show is over for Cuomo.

“The time has come,” she wrote. “The Governor must resign.”

The demand comes on the heels of Cuomo’s numerous allegations of sexual misconduct in the workplace. As of Tuesday, a total of three women have publicly come out and accused Cuomo of unwanted touching, kissing, and verbal harrassment.

This week alone, video evidence surfaced of Cuomo’s strange behavior around women.

There was the moment that Cuomo asked a reporter to put a whole sausage into her mouth…

And on Monday, former Barack Obama aide Anna Ruch told the New York Times that Cuomo had grabbed her by the face at a 2019 wedding reception, and asked to kiss her.

Cuomo had since apologized for his behavior, although the apology has been widely panned by critics as insincere.

In his statement, he said:

At work sometimes I think I am being playful and make jokes that I think are funny. I do, on occasion, tease people in what I think is a good natured way… I now understand that my interactions may have been insensitive or too personal and that some of my comments, given my position, made others feel in ways I never intended. I acknowledge some of the things I have said have been misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation. To the extent anyone felt that way, I am truly sorry about that.

Amid the allegations, New York Attorney General Letitia James has confirmed that an investigation will be opened against Cuomo.

It appears the clock is ticking for the high-ranking Democrat.

Remember when liberals called for Cuomo to run for president?
