Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel went on a tear-soaked liberal rant Monday against the second amendment — and it was almost immediately destroyed by critics.

Conservative author Ben Shapiro made a video reply that destroyed Kimmel’s argument, pointing out how Kimmel was using feelings — not facts — to try to influence government policy.

It’s a common tactic of the mainstream media — and Shapiro’s 17-minute video reply using simple, common sense is going viral.

Long gone are the days of Johnny Carson, who took lighthearted jabs at both sides of the political aisle. Now, late-night hosts like Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, Samatha Bee and others self-righteous celebrities rally together to push a biased agenda that fact-checkers point out is often riddled with lies.

Shapiro wasn’t going to take this latest rant lying down — and what he said will surely make Kimmel and his friends mad.
