“This is a lie.”
That was just one of many responses to White House correspondent Jim Acosta, who continued on his anti-White House crusade, after the CNN star was caught spreading falsehoods about President Donald Trump on social media.
Acosta has spent the last decade treating Americans like they’re dumb — and voters are fed up and pushing back.
It all came after Trump’s immigration announcement outside at the White House Rose Garden.
“We must also restore the integrity of our broken asylum system,” Trump said. “Our nation has a proud history of affording protection to those fleeing government persecutions. Unfortunately, legitimate asylum seekers are being displaced by those lodging frivolous claims. These are frivolous claims to gain admission into our country.”
Within minutes Acosta came swooping in with a response… and it did not go well.
Trump in Rose Garden speech paints asylum seekers with broad brush accusing them of misleading immigration authorities at border: “These are frivolous claims.”

In other words, Acosta is accusing the president of saying that all asylum seekers are misleading the truth. But, of course, that’s not true.
And it didn’t take very long for the social media world to drag Acosta back to down to earth.
“You know there’s video proving you’re lying, right?” one Twitter user said in response.
You know there's video proving you're lying, right?

Democrats and liberals can’t seem to function without Trump hate these days.
Acosta can’tt stand the fact that Trump was simply doing his job — he had to spread more “fake news.”
But these days, Americans can call out his nonsense in real-time.
