According to Page Six, human remains have been found at their mansion.
An investigation is underway after sheriffs say that the “very old” bones were found during a landscape construction project being done on the home.
Law enforcement officials have been silent on the origins of the bones found on the star couple’s property. One law enforcement spokesman told The Daily Mail that, “until we have an official opinion from the forensic anthropologist we’re not going to be saying one way or the other.”
Early speculation suggests that the bones could have belonged to someone of Chumash origin, based on a forensic anthropologist report on the indigenous group of people who were said to have lived in the area for more than 11,000 years.
The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s office is reportedly in touch with a local Native American commission to discuss the next steps.

This isn’t the first time trouble has arisen in the couple’s mansion, which is in the same neighborhood as television stars Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
Nine times the cops have been called to the home, including an incident involving a man who twice trespassed onto their property before being arrested by authorities.
