In an incredible act of bravery, one London officer put his life on the line to stop the mass carnage three jihad terrorists were attempting to commit.
This “Lion of London” came face to face with the three madmen armed with knives and did everything in his power to stop them, even though his only defense was a baton.
The unnamed British Transport Police officer was stabbed in the face in attack, according to The Washington Examiner, and subsequently rushed to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
Having only been with the British Transport Police for less than two years, the courageous move by the rookie cop is being cheering by many.
“The bravery he showed was outstanding and makes me extremely proud. He showed enormous courage in the face of danger, as did many others who were at the scene and rushed to help,” Chief Constable Paul Crowther said in a statement, according to ABC.
“Having visited the officer in hospital shortly after he was admitted for treatment, I was able to hear his account of what happened last night. Although he is seriously unwell, he was able to recount how he faced the attackers armed only with his baton, outside London Bridge station.”

Seven people were killed in the attack, a number that would’ve likely been higher had law enforcement not shown the courage they did.
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack, and all three terrorists were shot and killed by police.
