Since he took office, President Donald Trump has caused liberals to lose their minds. And the latest liberal hysteria is based on a photo of “Fake Melania” that is circulating the web.
This isn’t fringe stuff, either. This is prime daytime talk show material.
The ladies of “The View” discussed this week the insane notion that First Lady Melania Trump is employing a body double to accompany Trump.
“Some people think that the first lady is using an imposter to stand in for her,” said host Joy Behar. “You mean there are to women that pretend they’re listening to [Donald Trump]?”
The conspiracy theory circulated on social media just before Donald, Melania and their son Baron went aboard Air Force One to fly into Alabama to pay tribute to the 23 victims who perished from the vicious tornado. Very few people seemed to care that the Trumps were paying respects to Americans that lost their lives.
At a time when empathy and unity should be natural, mainstream liberal media instead decides to report on fringe Twitter trolls.

What’s worse is that “The View” panel seemed to believe in it.
“That doesn’t look like her,” Behar said. “No, it’s a different shaped face.”
“I’m ashamed to say,” another host mentioned, “I spent like an hour on Saturday involved in this.”
“When there’s a rumor like this and memes all over the place it catches on because there’s an element of truth to the idea that she doesn’t wanna spend time with him.”
And the audience gave a big chuckle following Behar’s cute insinuation about relationship issues in the White House. The panel spent the rest of the segment spewing jokes suggesting the first lady doesn’t really like the president.
But nobody on the panel ever considered that the gross jokes were coming at the expense of innocent American lives lost. And the president had some words for that on Twitter, responding to the hoax.
“The Fake News photoshopped pictures of Melania, then propelled conspiracy theories that it’s actually not her by my side in Alabama and other places,” Trump tweeted. “They are only getting more deranged with time!”

By the closing minutes of the scrutinizing segment, “The View” hosts decided they didn’t care whether the conspiracy was real or not.
“We’re not here to be better people, we’re here to have a good laugh,” Behar said.
