CNN has been caught playing biased politics again—and the liberal news network was called out for hypocrisy by one of its own.
The so-called “most trusted name in news” attacked President Donald Trump’s White House over the weekend, telling viewers that his cabinet features no African-Americans in “executive positions.”
But former CNN star Soledad O’ Brien was ready with a comeback: Take a look in the mirror first before pointing the finger at Trump.
Very terrible! But, uh, walk me through the senior black staff at @CNNPolitics or @cnn or, hey, I’ll take cable news…. https://t.co/AIYlVZ1mkN

Oops. It seems CNN has no African-Americans in executive positions, either. Same with MSNBC.
According to the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), there is a serious lack of African-American representation within the mainstream media’s top ranks, The Hill reported. In fact, CNN has recently been placed on a “special monitoring list” by the NABJ.
The association even placed a civil rights audit on the liberal media outlet.
CNN is eager to attack conservatives over diversity… but the network itself does no better.
“Rules for thee, not for me,” seems to be CNN’s unofficial motto.
The NABJ uncovered that CNN has ZERO African-American executive producers. They have zero African-American vice presidents.
And CNN CEO Jeff Zucker won’t even meet with the NABJ delegation. In fact, back in 2016, Jeff Zucker, who recently became the face of a searing stunt pulled off by conservative activists, refused to meet with NABJ Vice President-Digital Roland Martin over the issue.
“NABJ’s request to meet was and is focused solely on CNN’s diversity efforts, its results and our strategic priorities as an organization,” a NABJ statement read.
It seems CNN didn’t have any time for that. They were too busy attacking the president for the same thing.
It’s worth noting that the NABJ said they’ve had a positive response by Fox News, as well as as ABC, CBS and NBC.
CNN doesn’t want to hear about it.
