Twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is using her new book to settle some old scores — and it’s ruffling feathers all across America.
In fact, even Democrats are so sick of hearing from her, one former Clinton fundraiser said, “She’s doing harm to all of us because of her own selfishness. Honestly, I wish she’d just shut the f*** up and go away.”
For once, Trump voters and Democrats agree on something.
“Since her loss, Clinton has taken fire from both sides of the aisle for what’s seen as her refusal to acknowledge her own role in her campaign’s defeat,” The Hill reported Thursday. “She has blamed Russian hackers, sexism and former FBI Director James Comey for her defeat. But she has proven less vocal about flaws in her own campaign.”
The latest excerpt released this week has Democrats freaking out, because it also points blame at the higher-ups within Clinton’s own party.
Of course, their negative reaction is no surprise. In the hyper-sensitive political world of Washington, D.C., appearance is everything.
A politician throwing accusations at their own allies is the verbal equivalent to spitting in their face — and no one are spared from blame in Clinton’s tell-all book.
In other words, this book is political equivalent to a toddler’s meltdown — and both sides are sick of hearing it.
“In the book, Clinton says she was put in a ‘straightjacket’ during the primary by former President Obama, who she writes advised her not to attack Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), her rival in the Democratic primary, out of fear it would divide the party ahead of the general election. Clinton writes that she bristled at former Vice President Joe Biden’s suggestion that she failed to adequately convey the Democratic Party’s commitment to helping the middle class,” The Hill reports.
Clinton also unloads on Sanders voters, mocking his campaign’s socialist policy proposals as unrealistic. She also accuses Sanders’ supporters on social media — the so-called “Bernie bros” — as sexists that did lasting damage to her campaign.
Like the rest of America, even liberal Democrats are tired of this decades-old Clinton malarkey
