Conspiracy theories have swirled around former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton since the tragic death of deputy White House counsel Vince Foster 30 years ago.
Most recently, conspiracy theorists have jumped on the death of another former White House aide last year.

Former Clinton insider Mark Middleton, who worked for the first Clinton administration, was found dead at a ranch outside Perryville, Arkansas on May 7, 2022, under mysterious circumstances.
Police ruled his death a suicide, and his family told the Arkansas Times that Middleton was suffering from depression. The family said they were being harassed online over his death.
To preserve their privacy, a petition to judge in the Perry County Circuit Court to seal the photographic evidence of the grisly scene from the public was granted last year.
Authorities made the official report of the investigation into Middleton’s death public on Wednesday, finally shedding light on Middleton’s untimely death.
According to the report, Middleton’s body was discovered after a ranch worker found his abandoned black SUV. She called the Perry County Sheriff, who sent a deputy to investigate.

“Almost immediately after stepping around the corner of the cottage she started yelling,” Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremy Lawson wrote in the official report.
“Upon reaching the back of the cottage she pointed towards the rear of the property and asked if that was a person,” Lawson’s report stated.
“I could see what at first appeared to be a man sitting near a tree, as my eyes focused better, I could see a rope of some type going from the tree limb to the male.”
“I could see that he had a gunshot wound to the chest and that he had a knot tied in an extension cord that was around his neck and it was attached to the limb directly above him,” Lawson wrote.
The deputy wrote that three cases of buckshot and a gun case were discovered during a search of Middleton’s car.
But despite the gunshot wound to Middleton’s chest, police said no gun was ever recovered at the scene.

Critics have noted that Middleton was at the center of a number of Clinton scandals — including allowing disgraced billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein access to the White House.
His death gained significant attention when conspiracy theorists connected it to the right-wing theory known as the “Clinton Body Count,” which speculates that the Clinton family secretly orders the murder of political opponents.
Conservative radio host David Strom speculated on the cause of Middleton’s depression in an article for Hot Air —
Middleton had signed Jeffrey Epstein into the White House 17 times during Clinton’s presidency, and had (of course) flown on the infamous “Lolita Express.” His family claims he was deeply depressed (not because of these facts, I would suppose, since the Epstein connection was long in the past), and that this depression was the cause of his suicide.
Middleton was a rather notorious figure in the Clinton White House. After leaving service under Clinton he set himself up as an influence peddler, eventually costing him access to the White House after an investigation into his activities.
