Rep. Linda Sanchez of California is under fire for a “classless” move after she lost her cool at the 87th annual Congressional Baseball Game and fundraiser for charity held on Thursday.
Down 5-0, Sanchez drew a leadoff walk and was substituted for a pinch runner. As Sanchez headed back towards the Democratic bench she made a crude gesture — sticking out her middle finger towards the Republican team bench.

“California Democrat Rep. Linda Sanchez gave the Republican dug out the finger right before her team got BODIED 10-0 by the GOP in the congressional baseball game. What a nasty, disgusting slob.” Newsmax star Benny Johnson replied. “Perfect representation of the modern Left.”
“A baseball coach would bench a player for unsportsmanlike conduct if they flipped off the other team,” one user tweeted. “The divisiveness trickles down from the big guy.”
Rep. Linda Sanchez is classless,” conservative Nick Adams replied. “Giving the middle finger to the GOP Baseball team is hateful and divisive. Sanchez should be banned from all future Congressional baseball games and permanently stripped of all committees.”
The game itself was a lopsided affair. The Republican team won decisively, 10-0.
In the stands, climate protesters managed to get into the stadium and three were arrested. Sanzhez’ rude actions were the highlight of the game, which was delayed by rain for 30 minutes halfway through.
