President Donald Trump must be doing something right… because China is feeling so uneasy over upcoming trade renegotiations that they’re now threatening WAR against the United States!
Our so-called “friends” in Beijing started saber-rattling over the weekend, claiming that armed conflict could be on the horizon — and the U.S. media ignored it.
“’A war within the president’s term’ or ‘war breaking out tonight’ are not just slogans, they are becoming a practical reality,” a message from the People’s Liberation Army read, according to a translation in the South China Morning Post.
Trump has alarmed Beijing with his America First talk, promising to end trade policies that have made it easy for China to dump huge amounts of goods on the U.S. market at rock-bottom prices to undermine their U.S. competitors.
The result has been wildly profitable for China and its state-backed businesses, but disastrous for U.S. manufacturing including once-proud industries such as steel, aluminum, glass and more.
After Trump declared the end to the “false song of globalism”, Chinese leadership began to turn up the heat – and their war threats aren’t just idle talk.
The Asian giant has reportedly made some aggressive shifts that literally puts our country in their crosshairs.
The state-controlled Global Times newspaper, an arm of the People’s Daily, reports that long-range Dongfeng-41 nuclear missiles have been deployed to Heilongjiang province, near the Russian border in northeast China.
The significance?
The entire United States… including Washington D.C. and New York City… are now within the striking range of these missiles, which The Independent reports can travel up to 8,700 miles and carry up to 10 nuclear warheads each.
“China bears the heavy task of safeguarding national security,” state-controlled Global Times reported in an editorial published just last week. “Nuclear deterrence is the foundation of China’s national security, which must be consolidated with the rising strategic risks.”
The newspaper complained Trump “took a flippant attitude” toward China and that senior U.S. officials “frequently show their intention to flex their muscles with arrogance.”

“The U.S. has not paid enough respect to China’s military,” Global Times complained. “China must procure a level of strategic military strength that will force the U.S. to respect it.”
“Respect,” in this case, appears to be not-so-veiled code for military threats.
At least one analyst said China is dead serious.
“Chinese officials are preparing for the worst, and they expect to retaliate decisively in response to any U.S. policies they perceive as against their interests,” Ian Bremmer, president and founder of global political risk consultancy, Eurasia Group, warned CNBC.
“China doesn’t want trouble with the U.S., especially not in the run up to their own leadership transition this fall,” Bremmer said. “But if it comes, they want President Trump to understand the consequences.”
Trump, no doubt, is prepared to make sure China knows the consequences as well.
