President Joe Biden has made Russia his top foreign policy adversary… but he’s also made it a leading recipient of your tax dollars.
While Chinese citizens privately laugh at Biden, he’s shipping them taxpayer cash.
While American most steel mills and textile factories have been closed for years, and Americans die in droves in the poverty-blighted communities they left behind, the government is sending your money to Russia and China, a new report has found.
How much? More than a billion dollars’ worth, and counting — and the programs they pay for would be a joke, if they weren’t so sad.
For example, the State Department spent $96,875 to promote “gender equality” in male chauvinist China by showing foreigners cartoons from the New Yorker magazine.
In Russia, the U.S. government funded a $2.4 million study of Russian alcohol addiction—a subject Russians have known about for centuries.
In another case, the Georgia Institute of Technology—in the state of Georgia, not the former Soviet republic—paid the Pavlov Institute of Physiology $770,466 to conduct an experiment putting cats on treadmills.
That sounds like a great viral video, not a great way to spend U.S. taxpayer dollars.
But this experiment has a sick twist: The scientists implanted electrodes into the cats’ brain and spine, then killed them and dissected them.
That wasn’t the only U.S. grant that funded animal cruelty in a way that would come back to bite American taxpayers.
The National Institutes of Health doled out $2 million for the infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology—to conduct coronavirus experiments and experiment with “transgenic mice.” Many now consider a leak from the Wuhan lab the most likely explanation for how the COVID-19 virus spread across the globe.
The results come from a study conducted by Senator Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, and Open The Books, a government accountability think tank that attempts to track every single dollar spent by the Leviathan federal government.
“It’s outrageous $1.3 billion taxpayer dollars were sent to our foreign adversaries,” said Ernst. “What’s worse – Washington lost track of these funds.”

My #TRACKSAct would track every penny going to China and Russia. 🐾 https://t.co/85WYUs5qTK— Joni Ernst (@SenJoniErnst) June 5, 2023
@SenJoniErnst & @open_the_books just uncovered that more than $1 billion in taxpayer dollars were recently sent to Russia & China.
This is crazy, which is why Rep. Gallagher & Sen. Ernst introduced a bill requiring full transparency for U.S. dollars flowing to our adversaries. pic.twitter.com/LWEYl1PKbe

The study was able to trace $490 million in U.S. spending to China and nearly twice as much, $870 million, to Russia. Evidently, the more Biden wants to go to war with you, the more money you get.
“Here’s the principle that our federal agencies should live by, we should not be borrowing money from China to pay China, but that’s exactly what we found at Open The Books — up to half a billion dollars over the course of the past five years,” the group’s founder, Adam Andrzejewski, told The National Desk.
Worse yet, some federal regulators are favoring China over hard-hit Americans in the heartland.
A $1.6 million grant that went to Beijing “was supposed to go to domestic and producers to put commodities in our National School Lunch Program actually went to Chinese agricultural exporters.” said Andrzejewski.
Joe Biden used to laugh off the global threat of the CCP by promising China’s not “gonna eat our lunch,” but it turns out he served it to them.
And some grants are just suicidal.
The U.S. government gave China $51.6 million from the Department of Defense… including $6 million to keep the military “deployment and distribution command” software humming along for the People’s Liberation Army.
One day, that system could target U.S. soldiers or aircraft carriers deployed to protect Taiwan in the South China Sea.
For all Biden’s tough talk about cracking down on Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin benefited from lots of U.S. taxpayer cash.
“Russian contractors actually transport our intelligence and diplomatic competence pouch. We found $24 million spent with a local security firm to secure and guard our embassy in Moscow, including upgrading the security system on that embassy,” said Andrzjewski, who ran for governor of deep-blue Illinois. “We’ve subsidized the Russian space program to the tune of over $4 billion.”
If the United States keeps edging toward war in Ukraine, the Kremlin will appreciate — and exploit — all that technical know-how.
“Congratulations America, we’re financing our own demise!” said one conservative after reading the report.
To prevent money laundering and lost funds in the future, Ernst and Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wisc., have introduced the Tracking Receipts to Adversarial Countries for Knowledge of Spending (TRACKS) Act, which would require the federal government to announce and keep track of every dollar sent to China or Russia.
“If the government doesn’t know where your hard-earned tax dollars are landing in China and Russia, how would you?” asked young conservative activist Spencer Brown. “Joni Ernst has both the receipts to show this ‘gravely concerning’ lack of accountability and a bill to provide needed transparency.”
Many conservatives ask two questions: What took so long, and why limit transparency to a few countries?
The Pentagon is “the biggest money laundering machine in the world,” but U.S. officials “can only account for 39% of its $3.5 trillion in assets,” said Zerohedge, and it “has never passed a full audit.”
Zerohedge hopes that soon the day will come when “someone can rein in the trillions in untraceable spending and money laundering that takes place right under the noses of America’s elected bureaucrats.”
The bill would go a long way toward bringing accountability back to the way America spends foreign funds. So you can bet Joe—and Hunter—Biden want nothing to do with it.
