CBS News star confesses the UGLY truth

A former CBS News reporter is exposing the UGLY TRUTH about the liberal media.

In an interview she’s calling “professional suicide,” veteran journalist Lara Logan did something far more dangerous than travel to the war zones she’s covered for decades.

She’s calling out her own industry for its slanted coverage of President Donald Trump!

The media CLAIMS they’re objective despite their ceaselessly negative reporting on President Donald Trump.

They INSIST that they’s just stating the “facts.”

In REALITY, they’re every bit as biased as Trump has said!

“In this country, 85 percent of journalists are registered Democrats,” she told retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland in his “Mike Drop” podcast. “That’s just a fact.”

Give me your opinion- Do you feel like the media lies or manipulates stories?

In other words, most of the people who give you the news are literally from the left… and it’s reflected in how they “report” – or more accurately, DISTORT – what they cover.

And one way they do it is now pretty obvious.

“So, for example, all the coverage on Trump all the time is negative,” she said.

Because it’s literally everywhere, Americans are being fed bias and lies. And many never know it – again, because it’s everywhere.

“When you turn on your computer, or you walk past the TV, or you see a newspaper headline in the grocery store, if they’re all saying the same thing, the weight of that convinces you that it’s true,” she said. “You don’t question it, because everyone is saying it.”

Logan also gave Americans some tips based on her own extensive experience on how to spot “fake” and biased news no matter where it comes from:

“How do you know you’re being lied to? How do you know you’re being manipulated? How do you know there’s something not right with the coverage? When they simplify it all and there’s no gray. There’s no gray. It’s all one way. Well, life isn’t like that. If it doesn’t match real life, it’s probably not — something wrong.”

Naturally, the distortion machine went into overdrive, attacking her personally for exposing the truth about the industry.

Logan was ready.

“They can’t go after the things that matter, so they smear you personally, they go after your integrity, they go after your reputation as a person and as a professional and they’ll stop at nothing,” she told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Some of them have even claimed she’s now trying to push an agenda of her own.

So she’s doing what she’s done so well her entire career.

She’s fighting back.

“I want to say loudly and clearly: Nobody owns me,” she told Hannity.

In her podcast interview Logan also praised the handful of conservative media outlets out there – but said many people don’t even know they exist.

“Unless you seek out Breitbart on your computer, you’re probably not even going to know what the other side is saying,” she said. “This is the problem that I have. There’s one Fox, and there’s many, many, many more organizations on the left.”

She’s not trying to push an agenda. As an experienced and Emmy-winning journalist, she just sees it as a basic fairness issue.

“That is a problem for me, because even if it were reversed, if it was vastly mostly on the right, that would also be a problem for me,” she said

Logan’s comments come as trust in the media dips to all-time lows.

The poll earlier this month found 69 percent of Americans believe the media “is more concerned with advancing its points of view rather than reporting all the facts.”

And half of all people surveyed said their trust in the media has declined over the past two years, versus just 8 percent who said it has increased.

Here’s the interview —
