It’s literally fake news — and it’s being circulated by liberal activists all over Washington, D.C.
Special editions of The Washington Post are being handed out by alt-left activists around Capitol Hill, claiming President Donald Trump has resigned from office and Vice President Mike Pence has been sworn in.
It describes people celebrating in the streets all around the world and says the “entire globes breathes sigh of relief at end of dark period.”
The newspaper is a celebration of the anti-Trump hysteria that has swept through liberal activist groups.
And it’s completely and totally fake.
Residents of Washington, D.C. have been swarmed with fabricated copies of The Washington Post with the title, “UNPRESIDENTED” that claim Trump has quit his post because liberal protests overwhelmed him.
Here’s a picture of the literal “fake news” —

The paper has been made aware of the issue, and is warning readers to beware.
Meanwhile, liberal activists are celebrating the fake news stunt.
MoveOn, an organization founded to convince voters to “move on” from former President Bill Clinton’s numerous rape scandals, shared a photo of the paper and the liberal group handing it out across the city —

The person behind it all has been identified as an author named L.A. Kauffman.
Instead the faked newspaper is instructions on how to “take down” the White House — and includes plenty of plugs to buy her book on how to effectively organize a protest.
In other words, the whole thing is a stunt to get angry liberals to buy her book.

Liberals making up fake news about Trump to sell books?
Sounds like just another day on Capitol Hill.
