California will never run out of ways to waste taxpayers’ money — in fact, it seems to invent new ones every day.
The state has already spent billions on a high-speed rail project that has barely made any progress and may never transport a single resident. It’s a so-called “train to nowhere.”
Now, it looks like California is investing in “sidewalks to nowhere,” too.
Check out this footage from Santa Rosa, where the city has built a handicap ramp on an abandoned sidewalk that doesn’t go anywhere and is functionally unusable.
You literally won’t believe why they did this. Watch for yourself!
This is California insanity in action

Because of California bureaucracy and regulations, a sidewalk ramp must be on this corner that’s ‘American with Disabilities Act’ compliant
