There’s a problem brewing inside the White House.
Less than a full year into the job, some ugly reports are swirling around about Vice President Kamala Harris.
It seems that the honeymoon that swept her into the White House has come to an end.
A bombshell Politico report published some harsh details about how dysfunctional her office is.
The liberal journal wrote that her office is purportedly suffering from “low morale, porous lines of communication and diminished trust among aides and senior officials.”
22 sources close to the situation were interviewed, and it seems as though most had a similar message.
It all starts at the top.
“It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated,” one source said. “It’s not a place where people feel supported but a place where people feel treated like s***.”
“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses and it’s an abusive environment.”
Politico reported that there’s growing agitation over Harris’ press team, and how it has leaked damning stories to the media in comparison to President Joe Biden’s team.
But that’s nowhere near the end of it.
As concerns about Harris’ and her team run rampant, it’s also putting a stain on her potential to become the 2024 presidential nominee should Biden be unfit to run for re-election.
One source put it to Axios like this, summing up the general feelings in Washington, D.C. about Harris:
“‘Oh, she’s f***ing up, maybe she shouldn’t be the heir apparent.'”
Fears and anxiety are growing widespread that Harris would fail to beat any candidate that Republicans would bring to the table, and yes, that includes former President Donald Trump.
But as much as the Democrats have fears about the state of 2024… they face enormous questions about the present.
For now, the Biden-Harris team is playing damage control.
Biden’s Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, rejected the notion that there’s any turmoil on the inside.
“The President’s trust and confidence in her [Harris] is obvious when you see them in the Oval Office together.”
