Less than a week after announcing he had been hospitalized, former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said he was “okay and recovering from stomach stuff.”
The welcome news comes after O’Reilly announced on his personal website last Tuesday that he had an unspecified illness.
Greetings, No Spin Nation! Your tour guide is okay and recovering from some stomach stuff…

O’Reilly said that he was grateful for the well wishes he had received while at a medical facility in New York City and that he was working on his next broadcast.
“Amazing good wishes have arrived here in New York City, and it’s hard to describe my gratitude. I am planning a jail break out of the medical facility where there are more than a few Concierge Members,” O’Reilly wrote.
“That’s major. If USA Today finds me, I’m toast. Working on the first broadcast back because there’s nothing else to do here except watch hysterical local TV news coverage about snow generated by global warming.”
O’Reilly added that he will continue to keep his audience updated on his ongoing health and return to the camera.
O’Reilly has been hosting and producing No Spin News since he was dismissed from Fox News in 2017 following a New York Times report that claimed he’d settled several sexual harassment lawsuits.
“It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims,” he wrote in a statement at the time.
The 76-year-old journalist hosted “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News from October 1996 to April 2017.
O’Reilly debuted “No Spin News” in August 2017 and makes regular appearances on Chris Cuomo‘s NewsNation show.
He’s also served as executive producer on several National Geographic made-for-TV movies, based on his best-selling nonfiction books, including Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus, and Killing Reagan.
