President Joe Biden referred to Kamala Harris as “President Harris” again on Thursday — an increasingly common mistake Biden has made again and again.
And we have the video.
Biden made the gaffe when announcing that the White House’s goal of 100 million coronavirus vaccines would be met Friday.
Reading off a teleprompter during the speech, Biden said the hardest-hit demographics during the pandemic have been minority communities.
“This is really important because speed and efficiency must be met with fairness and equity.”
Then he seemed to get confused.
“Now, when President Harris and I… uh… took a tour of a vaccination center in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses on that… on that tour injecting people, giving vaccinations said that each shot was like administering a dose of hope,” Biden said.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Biden has made the unforced error. In December 2020, he called Harris “president-elect.”
“I hope [President Donald Trump] will clearly and unambiguously urge all Americans to take the vaccine once it’s available,” he said. “I took it to instill public confidence in the vaccine. President-elect Harris took hers today for the same reason.”
Earlier this month, Biden seemed to forget the name of his Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin. Biden called him “the guy who runs that outfit over there.”
Biden’s cognitive health has been a controversial topic since the 2020 presidential election. Former President Donald Trump’s campaign frequently questioned whether Biden was mentally fit for office.
Since then, critics of the White House have repeatedly questioned whether Biden, Harris, or others were really in charge of the Biden administration.
