According to insider reports familiar with the talks between Biden administration Homeland Security Secretary and U.S. Customs and Border employees, President Joe Biden is considering finishing construction of former President Donald Trump’s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Based on The Washington Times reporting, DHSS Alejandro Mayorkas said the administration is teasing the idea of patching up the gaps at the border.
“The president has communicated quite clearly his decision that the emergency that triggered the devotion of DOD funds to the construction of the border wall is ended,” he claimed.
BUT…
“But that leaves room to make decisions as the administration, as part of the administration, in particular areas of the wall that need renovation, particular projects that need to be finished,” such as “gaps” or “gates” or “where the wall has been completed but the technology has not been implemented.”
Critics said the surging border crisis likely forced these discussions.

While the administration’s “admission” on the matter isn’t anywhere near official, it’s one of the very few acknowledgments by the Biden administration that the border crisis has gotten out of control.
