Adolf Hitler
Hitler once said letting his people have weapons to defend themselves is “the most foolish mistake we could possibly make,” so he stripped Jews and his enemies of their guns.
He actually used a gun control law passed in 1928, before the Nazis came to power, to do his evil bidding.
The law let the government deny weapons to “untrustworthy” people. The Nazis just said all Jews “cannot be regarded as trustworthy”–and disarmed them.
The Nazis made the gun control laws stricter: Everybody who wanted to sell guns needed a license, and they banned people from selling firearms at public events like annual fairs.
The Nazis banned gun shows…just like liberals want to today.
They announced in local newspapers that, if they caught anyone with guns, “we will be forced to proceed ruthlessly.”
Finally, in March 1938, the Nazis pulled the trigger: They passed a law that “Jews are forbidden to possess any weapon. Violators will be condemned to a concentration camp and imprisoned for a period of up to 20 years.”
History tells us what happened next: Now that the Jews were poor, disarmed, and helpless, the Holocaust began in full. Six million Jews were incinerated, starved to death, shot, or treated like guinea pigs in the most twisted medical experiments.
They never had a fighting chance.
Josef Stalin
Another great supporter of gun control is Communist dictator Josef Stalin. He made sure snatching Russian guns became the Bolsheviks’ first move.
The month after the Communists came to power in Russia—December 1918—they passed a law demanding “the surrender of weapons.” Everyone could keep one registered weapon; violators got 10 years in prison.
Six years later, the Communists turned up the heat and said peasants could only own a smoothbore shotgun.
After all no one needs an assault weapon to go hunting, right? Sound familiar?
The Communists cranked it up even more in 1935 when they took away the people’s rights to own knives!
Then, when World War II broke out, the peasants had to turn in all their weapons to the military, too.
In the meantime, Stalin deliberately starved up to nine million Ukrainians to death, deported millions of his own people, and had at least a million Russians killed—and that’s during his years in power alone!
An eyewitness said that while Stalin wrote out his people’s death orders, he said, “Who’s going to remember all this riff-raff in ten or twenty years’ time? No one.”
It looks like Democrats have forgotten what got those innocent people killed.
Mao Zedong
Chinese Communist Mao Zedong was was incredibly open about his view of weapons.
“Every Communist must grasp the truth, ‘Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun,’” Mao said. “Our principle is that the Party commands the gun.”
The Communist view is that the government controls all the guns—the peasants have none.
Once his people couldn’t fight back, Mao became one of the greatest monsters in world history.
He killed 45 million people in four years, from 1958 to 1962, during the “Great Leap Forward.”
Maybe it’s a coincidence, but Obama administration officials said “we agree” with Mao’s view of guns and power. And maybe it’s just coincidence that Obama administration alumni are busy pushing gun control on America today.
Then again, maybe it’s not.
Hugo Chavez
Venezuela was South America’s most prosperous country before socialist Hugo Chavez turned it into a poverty-ridden hellhole, where the government guns down its own people without batting an eye.
Chavez set the stage and passed Venezuela’s first gun control law in 2012. Violators got 20 years in prison.
He said he did this to cut the nation’s murder rate, which was sky-high.
One ordinary Venezuelan reacted to the crime spree the same way Americans do to mass shootings, telling the media that murderers are “killing people every day. This law is important but they need to do more, they’re not doing enough now.”
The socialists did more, alright… a lot more.
Chavez’s successor, Nicolas Maduro, and his socialist soldiers have killed at least 163 pro-democracy protesters in cold blood since April 2017… even machine-gunning down protesters in the streets.
American socialists say they don’t want to turn America into Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela.
But if that’s true, why are they enacting his policies?
From Caracas, to Moscow, to Auschwitz, gun control is the first law passed by dictators prepping a nation for genocide.
And once they’ve ripped all the guns out of citizens’ hands, these dictators show everyone what the term “mass murder” really means.
Never forget.
Never again.
