More than a year after the presidential election, the details of a salacious election scandal – the interference in the election and the collusion with a foreign power, have finally been proven.
New information even demonstrates that another government financed the entire thing – and they forced the campaign to admit it all in writing.
It is an unreported election scandal that violated federal law.
Only it wasn’t Russia, and it wasn’t President Donald Trump.
It turns out, foreigners and an entire presidential campaign broke the law to help put a Democrat – a socialist – in the White House.
A socialist party in Australia sent seven volunteers to campaign for Senator Bernie Sanders – and defeat Trump.
The students got the money to travel to another hemisphere – literally, halfway across the world – from the Australian Labor Party (ALP). The party paid volunteers a total of $24,422, including $8,282 in daily stipends.
Its National Platform says, “The Australian Labor Party is a democratic socialist party” – and like true socialists, they got the money from the Australian taxpayer.
The government-funded program was supposed to help students observe political campaigns, not take part in them – that’s illegal.
The scandal came roaring to life when Project Veritas, run by James O’Keefe, filmed the foreigners tearing down Trump yard signs before the 2016 New Hampshire primary.
“Viva la Revolution!” one of them says afterwards.
Former New Hampshire House speaker William O’Brien found out and filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in March 2016.
The FEC investigation lasted 23 months, until the Sanders’ campaign, “Bernie 2016” admitted everything.
“The Committee treated the ALP delegates no differently from any other campaign out-of-town volunteers and was aware that they were receiving a stipend from ALP,” according to a four-page FEC Conciliation Agreement.
A campaign spokesperson admitted the facts but said that the senator’s staff “did not believe the stipend disqualified them from being volunteers.”
The FEC swatted that down and said the Vermont socialist broke the law banning foreigners from interfering in U.S. elections.
The Sanders campaign will only have to pay back $14,500 of the $24,000 in in-kind contributions it illegally accepted.
“Now we have proof that a major candidate in 2016 did get foreign help – and it wasn’t Trump,” said the Republican National Committee.
A spokesperson said the campaign signed the document “in order to avoid a long and expensive fight,” and it “did not agree that it broke any rules.”
But Project Veritas asked, “If they did nothing wrong, why pay the fine?”

The FEC document confirmed his worst suspicions, according to O’Brien. “It’s basically the Australian government using the conduit of a socialist party to assist the socialist candidate in the United States,” he said.
That may explain why the liberal media decided to sweep this election scandal under the rug. But a few honest liberals have called them on it. Alex Thompson, with the Left-leaning Vice News, tweeted:

Sanders’ presidential committee has 30 days to pay up under the terms of the agreement, which was signed February 14.
And the candidate has to agree that it “will cease and desist from breaking” the law.
What’s more, this may just be the tip of the iceberg. A Sanders campaign spokesperson admitted that “thousands and thousands of young people from every state and many other countries volunteered” for Bernie in 2016.
If the Democrats really want to clean up foreign interference in presidential elections, they can start with themselves.
