Army Pilot Zach Vohaska returned home from a deployment overseas and could not wait to surprise his Golden Retriever, Buddy.
Vohaska hid himself underneath pillows and blankets on his couch and prepared for Buddy to walk in the door.
As soon as Buddy entered the room, he smelt something familiar and quickly realized his favorite human was hidden under the covers.

Vohaska recently returned home to Woodstock, Illinois from his deployment in Afghanistan.
In his six months away from home, his friends and family missed him greatly, but as seen in the video — it was Buddy that missed him the most.
Buddy could hardly contain himself once he was able to see Vohaska — his tail was wagging as fast as can be, and his climbed in his owners lap for a sweet reunion.
These simple pleasures remind us how lucky we are to have servicemen and woman that put their lives on hold to serve our country.
