Former White House Communications Director turned critic Anthony Scaramucci said he was astonished on Saturday.
“I can’t even believe I got let back in the building,” he said when appearing on Fox News host Jesse Watters show over the weekend.
Scaramucci has risen to stardom in the mainstream media for his trashing of President Donald Trump — and when Watters warned he was being used, “The Mooch” had a meltdown.
“I’m worried about you,” Watters told Scaramucci.
“This guy is no longer suitable to be president,” Scaramucci said. “He’s completely nuts and he’s very unstable.”
But there are a few big problems in Scaramucci’s newfound Trump hatred.
The “Mooch” wrote a book praising Trump last year. It’s entitled, “Trump the Blue-Collar President,” and much of it offers Trump high praise.
If that wasn’t enough, Watters also rolled a montage of clips from Scaramucci’s tour as communications director just months ago.
Some of the highlights included:
“You can’t say that there wasn’t some level of political skill, and instinct, and some level of genius in terms of his judgment.”
“People 50 years from now are going to study what he’s doing.”[Sponsored] Triple Your Fat-Burning (take this 1 step –it’s easy)>
“The president is 100 percent right.”
Now that he has another book to sell, though, Scaramucci has become one of the biggest critics of the president.
“I’m just trying to get to the bottom of your change,” Watters told Scaramucci. “I’m worried about you.”
“I praised the president,” he admitted. “I was one of those guys that praised the president, went to war for him, gave him money, gave him family time and energy and he turned on me.”
Now that he’s got a book to sell, Scaramucci is eager to bash Trump.
And Watters pointed out that the mainstream media is simply using Scaramucci for hot soundbites on bashing the president.
“Do you realize you’re getting used by the media?” Watters asked. “[Because] the media hates you. They hate you, but now they love you because you’re hitting the president.”
“Not at all,” Scaramucci said.
But the look on his face told a different story.
