The shakeup at Fox News Channel is not over, it seems.
Just weeks after the ouster of rising star Dan Bongino and then the departure of the biggest star in cable news, Tucker Carlson, another Fox News host was unexpectedly removed from the lineup on Thursday.

Longtime veteran liberal Geraldo Rivera announced his upcoming appearances on Fox were suddenly “canceled” with no explanation.
Rivera promised to return soon.
“My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been canceled. I’m sure there’s a good reason. Never fear, I’ll be back week after next. Stay safe and happy. Thanks,” Rivera wrote on social media.
Rivera often appears as one of the three liberal counterpoints on The Five, alongside former Democratic Rep. Harold Ford Jr. and host Jessica Tarlov.
He has not appeared on the show since April 21, however — the same day Carlson was let go.

Neither Rivera nor Fox News Channel have offered an explanation for the absence.

According to The Daily Beast, there is internal speculation that Fox News star Greg Gutfeld may be behind Rivera’s removal.

However, “other sources within the network claimed Rivera was never on the show’s calendar to begin with—and that it was always supposed to just be Tarlov and Ford in the “liberal” seat this week,” the news outlet reported.
