Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gushes over woman beater

Attention, men of America.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a message for you.

She insists you need to have the morals of one of her favorite men. Even if that man has a checkered past of alleged domestic assault, and fathering a child with his family’s nanny.

During a Las Vegas campaign event on Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez gushed over First Gentleman Doug Emhoff as the ideal representation of masculinity.

“He’s not afraid to embody and pass on these values of security and this idea that you can, you can let your girl shine,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told a room full of students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, according to the Daily Mail.

“And he embodies that really well. We should all be really, really proud of him.”

Interesting take from AOC on her “ideal” man considering Emhoff has been linked to disturbing domestic assault allegations.

A former girlfriend of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff recently forward with allegations that Emhoff physically assaulted her during a 2012 celebrity event in France, providing documented evidence of their relationship and the trip where the alleged incident occurred to The Daily Mail.

The woman, a New York attorney identified only as “Jane” for privacy reasons, told The Daily Mail that Emhoff “slapped me so hard I spin around” during an incident outside the amfAR gala dinner at the Cannes Film Festival.

“As I’m talking to him, Doug got out of the line, comes up, turns me around by my right shoulder. I’m completely caught off guard, I’m not bracing, I’m in four inch heels, wearing a full-length gown and it’s between 2-3am,” Jane said.

“There had been no fight, no argument. In that moment, his mask had dropped and I saw his dark side.”

A spokesperson for Emhoff denied the allegations to Semafor, stating that “any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.”

So much for the “Believe All Women” slogan of the Democratic Party!

The assault allegations are coupled with an admission from Emhoff himself that his first marriage ended after Emhoff had an affair with his children’s nanny.

AOC ignored the allegations. Instead, she praised Emhoff for lifting up Kamala Harris.

“He’s able to stand beside the vice president’s side and lift her up instead of put her down,” she said, according to the outlet. “And he knows that by lifting of women, he’s also lifting up his fellow men around him. He’s not afraid to be a dad of a powerful daughter and a great son.”
