ABC News busted in nasty Trump lie (AGAIN!?)

ABC News is under fire after being caught pushing another lie about President Donald Trump on Thursday.

Reporting on Trump’s rally in Minnesota on Wendesday, ABC News implied to readers Trump had doubled-down on family separation. “We’re sending them the hell back!” the network quoted Trump saying.

The news organization provided context for it’s readers in a Tweet that read, “Despite signing an executive order to end the practice of separating immigrant children from their parents, Pres. Trump doubled down on his hardline immigration rhetoric at a campaign rally in Minnesota.”

That, it turns out, is a lie.

Trump was talking about the violent gang MS-13.

“MS-13 gangs — we have taken them out of our country by the thousands,” Trump told supporters on Wednesday. “And these countries that send them back, we’re putting in legislation. We’re not giving them any more aid when they send people up. They’re sending… and they’re not sending their best, that I can tell you. And we’re sending them the hell back!”

ABC News was quickly called out for taking Trump’s statement out of context by supporters who were at the rally.

This tweet from ABC News is very dishonest as it makes it sound as though Trump said that about immigrant families and children.

Once again, he explicitly stated that he was referring to MS-13. https://t.co/CApi18Mvk5

The controversy comes just days after the liberal news network was caught inexplicably pushing a false story that former Trump aide Paul Manafort was convicted of five manslaughter charges.

ABC News apologized to viewers and redacted that story within a day, but not before the “fake news” damage was done.

Just days later, the network is caught publishing an out-of-context quote to make the president look bad.

These days, it seems like the mainstream media doesn’t bother hiding that they’re pushing lie after lie after lie.

Is it any wonder the American people no longer trust them?
