There’s going to be a fashionable, new religion in town, according to former President Barack Obama.
During a recent interview with a New York Times podcast, Obama talked about a lot of things… including the big changes coming to America — and the world — in terms of religious beliefs and political realignment.
And it could center around an upcoming UFO report, due to be delivered by the Pentagon to Congress no later than June 29th.
Obama predicted that if undeniable proof of intelligent alien life were actually found, things would change suddenly for humankind. There would be a massive push for an increased military budget. There would be all-new religions and spiritualism.
And everyone would find something new to argue about, Obama said.
Pretty much the only thing that wouldn’t change is his own beliefs, the 44th president confidently predicted.
“It’s interesting,” he said. “It wouldn’t change my politics at all. Because my entire politics is premised on the fact that we are these tiny organisms on this little speck floating in the middle of space.
“But, no doubt there would be immediate arguments about like, ‘Well, we need to spend a lot more money on weapons systems to defend ourselves,'” Obama continued before talking about religious beliefs.
“New religions would pop up,” he predicted.
“And who knows what kind of arguments we get into,” Obama said. “We’re good at manufacturing arguments for each other.”
Once a dismissed topic only fit for conspiracy theorists, the existence of UFOs — Unidentified Flying Objects — has suddenly gained widespread acceptance among U.S. government politicians, newsmakers, and military personal.
That doesn’t mean little green men have arrived and asked to be taken to America’s leader. But the U.S. military has confirmed the authenticity of videos of Unidentified Aerial Phenomenons (UAP) — the U.S. government’s official term for UFOs that act in a way that defies modern understanding of physics.
Late last year, former President Donald Trump signed a package that included a provision asking the Pentagon to deliver a report to Congress on these UAPs within 180 days — which is June 29th.
The report may not say much in the end. It may include stunning admissions that the U.S. military has known more for decades.
But no matter what, for the first time it has everyone taking UFOs seriously.
