Earlier this morning, The Horn News touched on former President Donald Trump’s exclusive Fox News interview in which he torched Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
But that wasn’t all he said.
Trump also revealed who he’d like to see run for president in the next election cycle.
It’s not President Joe Biden — it’s former Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle.
Trump made the revelation to Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo in an exclusive interview, and the ex-president got brutally honest about why he’d like her to run for the office on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“… I hope that happens because if that happened, then I think I’d have an even stronger feeling toward running,” Trump said.
In other words, he’d win in a landslide.
Trump’s statement comes just a handful of days after the ex-royal reportedly sought counsel on a planned presidential run. This, of course, followed the drama surrounding her and husband Prince Harry who spilled the beans on their time as part of the British Crown in a tell-all Oprah interview.
Trump didn’t seem pleased with any of it.
“I’m not a fan of hers,” he said. “I think that what she talks about the royal family and the queen — I happen to think, I know the queen, as you know. I’ve met with the queen and I think the Queen is a tremendous person.”

“And I’m not a fan of Meghan,” he said.
As for Trump himself, he teased the idea that he may throw his hat in the presidential race once again — but not for a few years.
First he’s focused on the 2022 midterm elections.
He wants to take back the House first.
President Trump says he'll make a decision about running again in 2024 after the midterms:
"Based on every poll, they want me to run again but we're gonna take a look and we'll see. First step's first, we have to take back the House." pic.twitter.com/ulX40enJzh

“I think we have a very, very good chance of taking back the House,” he added.
After that, he’ll evaluate his choice.
“We’ll make our decision after that,” he said.
