[Watch] Adam Schiff actually does something right

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., has stayed out of the limelight ever since the November 2020 election.

Attacking former President Donald Trump is no longer around to keep him in the headlines.

So it’s been a relatively quiet couple of months from the impeachment leader.

But now he’s found a new target — New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a fellow Democrat.

Schiff recently appeared on CNN and called on Cuomo must resign. Cuomo is facing mounting allegations of both sexual harassment and sexual assault, and the total number of women alleging misconnection is now seven.

Schiff says the evidence surrounding the case is pretty undeniable and that Cuomo must leave office.

“I think that my colleagues from New York are right,” Schiff told Wolf Blitzer.

“It probably is time for him to step down. They’re closer to the situation than I am. But, I have confidence that if they’ve made the judgment that he can’t govern anymore, that he doesn’t have their confidence or the confidence of New Yorkers to do that, and in light of the seriousness of the allegations of sexual assault or harassment, then I don’t think he can carry on, and in the best interest of the people of New York, he should resign.”

Schiff is only the latest high-profile Democrat to join in on the mounting calls for Cuomo to hang it up.

It’s perhaps a shocking twist to start 2021, as Democrats had gotten their wish in taking the White House, but remain plagued with problems in their own political party.

The Horn News has previously spoken at length about the previous six accusers.

The seventh, ex-Albany reporter Jessica Bakeman, alleges that Cuomo grabbed her during a 2014 holiday party.

Bakeman detailed her experiences in New York Magazine.

“He took my hand, as if to shake it, then refused to let go,” she wrote. “He put his other arm around my back, his hand on my waist, and held me firmly in place while indicating to a photographer he wanted us to pose for a picture.”

According to Bakeman, for Cuomo his behavior wasn’t about sex but power.

“He wanted me to know that he could take my dignity away at any moment with an inappropriate comment or a hand on my waist,” she also wrote.
