Former senior White House aide Ivanka Trump has been largely quiet since her father, former President Donald Trump, left the White House.
That changed Tuesday.
Ivanka partnered with faith and community leaders in Florida to help distribute more than 1,300 food boxes to the needy in Florida, Fox News reported.
Ivanka personally delivered boxes to the homes of disadvantaged people not healthy enough to travel to the in-person event, as well as to a shelter for victims of human trafficking.
“Human Trafficking is a crime against humanity, and that alone stands above politics,” the shelter, called the Lifeboat Project, wrote in a statement thanking Ivanka as well as “all levels of government, community leaders … and partnered agencies.”
“Today was a beautiful day to put politics aside at The Lifeboat Project and let faith and truth be our topic of connection. We had the opportunity to fill the room with global leaders and have a conversation about our growing world model.”
“It was the beginning of acknowledging truth and showing that faith always overcomes fear,” the statement said.
While she’s remained more private since leaving the White House, Ivanka has still made headlines in the political world. Vanity Fair reported that her father is still deciding on a 2024 presidential run — and has considered her as his potential running mate.
Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, have also reportedly discussed her future as the next in line to the Trump family dynasty in politics. Specifically, Ivanka has eyes on becoming the first female president in United States history… if she can stomach the D.C. swamp.
