Trump has trap planned for Biden

It may seem hard to believe, but former President Donald Trump has been gone from the White House for more than a month already.

Although his ban from social media has attempted to take him out of the spotlight, the former president continues to find ways to make his voice heard.

This upcoming Sunday will be no exception, when Trump will take the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference 2021 (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida.

He’s expected to speak to a few things he has on his mind.

And his number one target is President Joe Biden.

According to sources familiar with his speech prepared, Trump may also tease a 2024 presidential run.

Cable news giant Fox News says he’ll creep “right up to the line of announcing another campaign” without officially running.

In other words, nothing is official yet, but the tease is an indication he’s seriously considering a run.

Expect him to get after Biden as well — specifically the administration’s handling of illegal immigration and its stance on China, according to Fox News. Biden has notably worked diligently to unravel a handful of Trump-era immigration policies since the Jan. 20 inauguration.

But there’s one thing that sources familiar with the speech don’t know for certain…

Whether or not the former president will address the results of the 2020 election.

The speech will mark the first major public appearance since Trump has left office.

According to The Hill, since his departure Trump has long-been in communication with a handful of top GOP allies, such as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. The two reportedly met in Trump’s stomping ground at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump’s appearance is set to make for an entertaining CPAC, where political pundits expect the event to become an introduction of sorts to the 2024 race, with Republican candidates such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., slated to speak.

In a way, perhaps we’ll be seeing an early teaser of the Republican primaries.
