Following the Capitol storming that saw hundreds of rioters walk right through the Halls of Congress, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats responded by implementing a major rule change.
And she just got caught breaking her own rule she just fined a House Republican over.
Last month the Democrats — led by Pelosi — voted to put metal detectors at the entrance of the House.
Liberal lawmakers mandated that all members of Congress submit to either a metal detector or a submit to a search before entering.
Pelosi herself even pushed the Republicans to comply with the rules or face steep fines — $5,000 per violation.
You’d think she would abide by the rules, especially her own.
Well, reportedly she was seen evading the metal detectors according to a Fox News report that implicated the House Speaker. The report states that House Republicans say Pelosi avoided the metal detectors by using an alternative entrance.
Rep. Rodney Davis, D-Ill. told Fox: “She opened the session on the floor, she came through what is known as the Speaker’s lobby.”
“We are all told, one Republican was fined for doing this just yesterday, that you cannot walk through those entrances unless you are disabled.”
Now, according to The Daily Wire, the GOP will make a concerted push to pay the very fines she asked for.
Davis, a ranking member of the Committee on House Administration, posted a photo to Twitter of the official letter demanding that Pelosi be held accountable.

And Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-T.X. chimed in, blasting the House Speaker on Twitter with a simple demand.
