Trump’s plans to make these 3 Fox News stars pay

It seems that the fallout from the November election is only getting more personal.

President Donald Trump is digging his heels in as part of his crusade against those who have abandoned him — and his first target is Fox News.

And according to a recent report from Axios, Trump is specifically plotting revenge against three anchors at the network.

The cable giant has reportedly been reaching out to the President behind the scenes –– but Trump isn’t interested in reconciliation.

A source told Axios: “He wants to make them pay.”

And according to reports, Trump is going after liberal anchors Martha MacCallum, Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace.

Part of his plan likely involves amplifying the noise between Fox News and its newfound rival network, Newsmax. And The Washington Post is even reporting that Trump’s strategy is to apply constant pressure on Fox News to begin covering him more favorably.

The post-election fallout has Trump cheering on the success of Newsmax, and more importantly network primetime host Greg Kelly, whose viewership numbers have recently challenged Fox News in the 7 p.m. time slot.

Founder of Newsmax Christopher Ruddy says Trump “is happy with the Hannitys and the Laura Ingrahams, but he has been disappointed with the overall coverage.”

Ruddy also disclosed to Whe Post that he offered Trump a spot on Newsmax’s lineup, but the President is expected to remain open to all options beyond the end of his presidency –– whether that’s in just a couple of months or four more years from now.

Conservative blog HotAir speculates that by keeping his options open, Trump knows he’ll command attention from Fox News. HotAir said the network is still the king of cable and predicts that under a would-be Joe Biden presidency, the news cycle will return to status quo.

Liberals will grow bored, and Fox News viewers will return to criticizing a hypothetical Biden White House.

Whatever the case may be, it seems as though Mr. Trump is just getting started.
