Trump’s new mission: “Wreck Fox News”!?

President Donald Trump is fighting for his political life as he seeks to overturn the mainstream media’s call that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden won the 2020 election.

But behind the scenes, he’s also reportedly planning a revenge tour.

His mission?

“Clobber” Fox News, according to recent reports from Axios.

The independent news source spoke to officials intimate with Trump — and they described how he’s masterminding a news network of his own to crush Fox News.

“He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it,” said a source, who went unnamed.

In the past year alone, many rumors have swirled about how the former celebrity mogul would make a return to the entertainment industry. Star conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has offered the president his seat as his replacement, and in 2019 reports were floating around that speculated that “The Apprentice: White House” could be in the works.

But according to the Axios report, when Fox News called the state of Arizona for Biden prematurely on Election Night, it set Trump over the edge and gave him the motivation to go after the network.

The source alleges that he would look to start a subscription-based digital service as opposed to a cable channel, that would charge a small monhtly subscription fee, in order to lure viewers away from Fox News.

Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch seems to be embracing the challenge.

“We love competition,” he reportedly said in a recent call. “We have always thrived with competition. … Fox News has been the number one network, including broadcast networks, … from Labor Day through to Election Day.”

If there’s a conservative media war brewing, Trump could move soon.

The unnamed source told Axios that he intends to plan upcoming rallies where he’ll “spend a lot of time slamming Fox.”
