Ocasio-Cortez’ newest “Squad” even more dangerous

A few years ago, describing yourself as a socialist would kill your political career. But thanks to the 2020 election, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and her four-member “Squad” are about to get three new reinforcements to help them turn America into a socialist country.

“Squad 2.0 let’s go,” tweeted Cori Bush of Missouri, one of the three newly-elected radicals about to sweep into the Capitol next year.

The original “Squad” is made of up Ocasio-Cortez and; Reps. Ilhan Omar, D.-Minn.; Rashida Tlaib, D.-Mich.; and Ayanna Pressley, D.-Mass.

The new Squad 2.0 members include Cori Bush of Missouri, and Jamaal Bowman, and Mondaire Jones of New York.

The congressmen-elect may be new names and faces, but they support the same old big-government plans as AOC-plus-three.

All three of the new socialist congressmen support AOC’s Green New Deal, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All and free college for all, Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s plan to “forgive” $1.7 trillion in student loans, and the Democratic base’s demands to defund the police, abolish ICE, and give welfare to illegal immigrants.

Like Ocasio-Cortez, they often knocked long-serving Democratic congressmen off their perch.

Cori Bush defeated incumbent Rep. William Lacy Clay—who, with his father, had held this congressional district for 50 years—before destroying Republican Anthony Rogers by 60 points in the general election.

Bush, who was endorsed by Bernie Sanders, actually led the rioters who threatened St. Louis couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey on June 28. The crowd reportedly threatened to murder the McCloskeys, set their historic home on fire, and kill their dog.

Mark McCloskey, a Democratic lawyer, warned this summer’s Republican National Convention that a “Marxist, liberal activist leading the mob to our neighborhood, stood outside our home with a bullhorn screaming, ‘You can’t stop the revolution.’ Just weeks later, that same Marxist activist won the Democratic nomination to hold a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.”

That Marxist was Bush, who also says she’s a church “pastor.”

“That Marxist revolutionary is now going to be the congresswoman from the first district of Missouri,” McCloskey said.

Bush and the destructive crowd she whipped up have faced no charges, while the McCloskeys could lose their freedom and their livelihood for defending themselves, and their dog.

She’ll be joined in Congress next January by Jamaal Bowman, who defeated 10-term incumbent New York Democrat Rep. Eliot Engel after Ocasio-Cortez personally campaigned against her New York congressional colleague.

But Bowman tipped his hat to “amazing groups” like “the Democratic Socialists of America.” He said he would rely on socialist organizations like the DSA “not just for the campaign, but for the issues” that come before him in Congress.

Bowman also won support from Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and the far-Left Working Families Party.

Bowman would have the government take over the health care decisions of 329 million Americans—and any illegal alien who could get to a U.S. hospital. “Private insurance needs to be transitioned out,” he said.

“People call me a democratic socialist. I’m fine with that,” he said.

Bowman, who supports Palestinian causes, lumped Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu together with  “far-right authoritarian leaders” like those “in Saudi Arabia.”

The third member of Squad 2.0, Mondaire Jones, is replacing Democratic Rep. Nita Lowey, who retired after 16 terms in Congress. Jones’ win was a double blow to the Democratic Party establishment: It got rid of Lowey and thwarted the Clinton family’s plans to have Chelsea Clinton run for the congressional seat when Lowey finally quit.

Jones, who worked with former President Barack Obama in Eric Holder’s Justice Department, is a key mover-and-shaker behind the plot to pack the Supreme Court.

“We’ve got to make sure that we…work in earnest to expand the court,” he told Rolling Stone magazine. If Democrats take the White House and the Senate, “there could be court expansion,” because he intends to introduce the legislation.

He also aims to cancel President Donald Trump’s presidency-defining accomplishment of remaking the U.S. court system. He said, “We have to add judges at all levels of the federal judiciary” to drown out the conservatives Trump named to the bench in place of liberal judicial activists.

Packing the courts “is what a democracy reform package should look like,” he said.

The new members had the same financial backers as the first rendition of the Squad: a PAC known as Justice Democrats, which has had ethical issues in the recent past.

With the Democrats losing House seats in the 2020 election, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will have to cater even more to this enlarged caucus of socialists and their demands that she help them remake America.
