Government watchdog Judicial Watch has revealed that Fox News’ Sean Hannity has been spied on by government intelligence agencies.
According to U.S. State Department documents obtained by the conservative activist group, the American embassy in Ukraine has been keeping tabs on the late night news host since spring of 2019.
And Hannity wasn’t the only one being tracked.
He was one of more than a dozen popular conservative figures on a list, which also included fellow Fox stars Laura Ingraham and Lou Dobbs, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, network contributor Dan Bongino, Donald Trump Jr., and a large swath of other prominent conservative figures.
And one insider is calling this an “enemies list.”
“When you look at this … this was an enemies list,” Fox News contributor John Solomon told Hannity.
And he says everyone on this list has one thing in common.
“This was a group of journalists that had raised questions about Russia and then about the conduct of things like Joe Biden, and the embassy was monitoring us, not for national security reasons, but for reasons about the reputations of people in the past administration, the Obama-Biden-[Hillary] Clinton administration.”
They were all voices critical of the ties between former President Barack Obama’s administration and the Ukrainian government. Voices critical of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s corruption.
Biden’s dealings with Ukraine are no secret, and critics have called his moves shady at best … and major international crimes at very worst.
State documents revealed that those tracked by the office in Kiev, Ukraine, monitored their Twitter social media accounts for key words and phrases like: “[Ambassador Marie] Yovanovitch,” “Ukraine Ambassador,” “Ukrainian Ambassador,” “Ukraine Soros,” “Clinton campaign,” and “Biden-Burisma.”
Judicial Watch says the spying is a potential violation of federal code.
And Solomon, a regular Fox contributor who appeared on the list himself, has only one question for the spies …
” … is this the only thing they did?” he said.
