Trump to environmentalists: You’re messing up my hair!

Donald Trump has a personal beef with one of the efforts aimed at protecting the environment — it’s messing with his hair.

Trump told supporters in South Carolina last week that he’s not impressed by replacements for old aerosol hairsprays that contained ozone-eating chemicals called chlorofluorocarbons, or CFCs.

“You can’t use hairspray because hairspray is going to affect the ozone,” he said at a rally on Hilton Head Island, launching into an extended riff about his preferred hair products.

“They want me to use the pump because the other one, which I really like better than going ‘bing,’ ‘bing,’ ‘bing,’ and then it comes out in big globs, right? And it’s stuck in your hair, and you say, ‘Oh my God, I got to take a shower again, my hair’s all screwed up,’ right? I want to use hairspray.”

In fact, consumer aerosol products have not used ozone-depleting substances since the late 1970s, the Environmental Protection Agency says, because of voluntary product changes and federal regulation.

That means Trump can use any hairspray he wants without risking ozone depletion.

Like many of his Republican rivals, Trump rejects climate science. He mocked President Barack Obama for flying to Hawaii on vacation aboard fuel-burning Air Force One.

“A lot of it’s a hoax, it’s a hoax. I mean, it’s a money-making industry,” he said, vowing instead to focus on clean air and drinking water if elected president.

Earlier this month, Trump complained about restrictors that limit water flow on shower heads.

“You have showers where I can’t wash my hair properly,” he said at a rally in Aiken, South Carolina. “It’s a disaster.”

The Associated Press contributed to this story.

Some may say that this is ludicrous, but it just goes to show that the Donald is a perfectionist and doesn’t back down from all the crap that is thrown at him. He may be talking about his hair but ti shows his persistence to doing his best…always. He’s not a billionaire because he takes second best. And that’s what he’ll do for our country. His best. Love you Donald!

he may know how to make money and maybe that is a good thing with the deficit but he does say some crass things.

Donald Trump scares me. He speaks in trivial one-liners, about trivial things. He says things that are ‘off the wall’. I want “substance” in my president. — Trump scares me. —

Mildred get real! He is the only one that makes any sense since Reagan! Just look at the crapper that occupies the white house now – we don’t want another repeat performance. Trump is the man for the job!????

My smiley face turned into question marks. I guess they don’t translate. But Trump is the best man for President.

You are easily scared Mildred – like anyone who’s uninformed or naive. Donald Trump quite often, like in this case, speaks “tongue- in-cheek”. You seem to have missed the real import of his sayings! His speeches are laced with humor and he says many things which grab folks’ attention….but those who don’t understand, get the wrong ‘end of the stick.’

Donald Trump is the only hope for our country. Our lifetime politicians have proven that they are only interested in lining their pockets with special intrest groups money. We need a president that will balance the budget. Not increase spending to all time records. Which is what Obama has done.

Donald Trump is right to point out the hypocrisy of President Obama who tries to peddle the dangers of global warming and then flies all over the world in Air Force 1. If proponents of global warming really believed the hysteria they are creating they would cut back on their own carbon footprints. The reality is global warming/climate change is a hoax designed to take people’s money and freedom.

Donald Trump can talk about his hair all he wants to and it will not keep him from doing the right job as our PRESIDENT, now that it appears we just might get one for all of the people who are currently legal in America…Go Donald.

If you mean by moderation in my posting that the statement , now that it appears that we just might get one for all the people who are currently legal in America – consider it gone but fortunately not out of mind…God Bless Donald Trump
This is my first posting on any subject and my last. I will use the ballot box when it is time.

I dreamt two nights ago that I “had Donald’sback”, meaning that I had become one of his secret service protectors! I don’t know if he will make America great again, but my unconscious shows that he is a lovable, good person and that people who look beyond the caricature, resonate with that.
