Barack Obama in deep trouble Friday

For years, critics of former President Barack Obama’s administration’s controversial wiretap of President Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign have demanded justice.

Friday, insiders say the biggest insider is going to finally be interrogated under oath — and it could be the beginning of the end for Obama.

Former CIA Director John Brennan will be interviewed by U.S. Attorney John Durham regarding the origin of the Russian probe as soon as Friday, RedState reported.

Brennan has been increasingly outspoken against Durham’s probe regarding the origin of the Obama administration’s actions during the 2016 presidential election.

In May, he privately fumed over the Durham investigation, complaining that he was unfairly in the “crosshairs” of the criminal inquiry. He complained the probe was a politically motivated smear by the Trump administration.

“Well, it’s clear that I am in their crosshairs. Ever since Donald Trump was inaugurated, I have spoken out against what I think has been the corruption, the incompetence, the mischaracterizations that he and individuals around him have made to the American public, and I will continue to speak out,” Brennan said in May.

“And yes, John Durham, who is a well-respected individual from the Department of Justice, many years in the business, is conducting this investigation — I guess it’s an investigation — and looking at what happened during those last months of the Obama administration and the first year or two of the Trump administration,” he said.

Brennan has since become more vocal.

Earlier this week, he lashed out at the bipartisan findings of the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation into the Russian probe, which found — like special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation — zero evidence of collusion between the Trump presidential campaign and Russian intelligence.

You are dead wrong, Senator. The report shows extensive evidence of collusion between the Trump Campaign & the Russians. Read the report.

As soon as Friday, Brennan will be obligated to say the same thing while under oath — under threat of perjury. Durham will reportedly ask about his and other Obama administration official’s role in the now-debunked Steele dossier.

Specifically, Durham will ask if Brennan or other Obama officials pushed the use of the Steele dossier in obtaining the controversial FISA warrants to surveil Trump campaign aides.

Under oath, Brennan might just start telling different stories than he’s told to MSNBC.

The interview comes just days after Durham secured his first guilty plea from an FBI insider over falsifying documents in the so-called “ObamaGate” scandal.

Depending on what Brennan says, this could take Durham’s investigation to a much higher level — and could help make that guilty plea the first of many.
