Fox News host Sean Hannity had one question for Dallas Mavericks owner and “Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban — and their exchange quickly went viral.
“Do you believe that [Joe Biden] has the strength, the stamina, the mental acuity, the alertness to be taking on what is the toughest job in the world, being the president of the United States?” Hannity asked.
“Do you in your heart believe he does?” he added.
“One hundred percent,” Cuban said. “Absolutely.”
The outspoken NBA franchise owner appeared on a segment with Hannity to discuss who he will be voting for in 2020 and their exchange was heated. Cuban made it known that he’s voting for Biden come November.
“Joe Biden actually wants to run a country,” Cuban said. “Donald Trump doesn’t want to run a country. He wants to run a campaign.”
Hannity challenged Cuban on Biden’s 50-year record in politics. Hannity echoed the sentiments of many political pundits, who charge that Biden has largely been a failed politician.
Hannity noted the Trump successes: Police reform, prison reform, record low unemployment for minority groups and rejuvenated investment in opportunity zones.
The Fox News host suggested that Trump has done more with nearly three and a half years than Biden had done in eight years as Vice President.
“He was Vice President for eight years,” Hannity continued. “Tell me what Joe has done that you’re proud of, that qualifies him to be president after 50 years.”
Cuban had a hard time responding.
“I don’t know,” he said, citing the fact that Biden wasn’t his state Senator.
“He was Vice President eight years!” Hannity shouted. “What did he do? He had eight years.”
Cuban quickly mentioned the Affordable Care Act — otherwise known as Obamacare.
“I think the ACA [ObamaCare] is easily [President Obama and Biden’s] biggest accomplishment and it’s unfortunate the [Trump administration is] trying to dismantle it.”
The two transitioned into discussing entrepreneurship when Cuban told Hannity that he thought Biden supported America’s business owners more so than Trump.
” … the one event in the White House that Joe Biden put on and spoke about his support for entrepreneurship is one more event than he [Trump] has ever done for entrepreneurs in the White House or anywhere else.”
Hannity called Cuban “nuts.”
