Presidential candidate Joe Biden is taking some heat this week… and he deserves it.
On radio personality Charlamagne tha God’s nationally syndicated radio show, Biden claimed that any African American who doesn’t support him “ain’t black.”
And, of course, the media had to report on Biden’s shocking comment … because it happened on national radio.
But the mainstream media is clearly avoiding and covering up a much larger and more serious issue.
Biden has a long, long history of controversial racial talk and actions.
And it’s journalistic malpractice that reporters aren’t raising more serious questions about it.
The truth is, Biden’s “you ain’t black” comment may not even be the most racist thing he’s said or done.
Here are just five disturbing, race-related incidents involving Biden — incidents the mainstream media is conveniently ignoring.
#5: The 7-Eleven incident
In 2006, as a Delaware senator, Biden was caught on microphone saying, “You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking.”
No, he wasn’t joking. Biden apparently meant every offensive, jaw-dropping word.
#4: Biden thinks poor kids can’t be white
At a 2019 town hall in Iowa, Biden actually said that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
Yes, the implication here is clear… Biden thinks that being poor is reserved for people of color.
Can you imagine if President Donald Trump made a similar comment? But hold on… it gets worse.
#3: A disturbing record on desegregating schools
Before she was shamelessly angling to be his running mate, California Senator Kamala Harris was hitting Biden hard on his opposition to busing measures meant to desegregate schools.
And Harris was right.
In 1976, Biden introduced a proposal to stop the federal government from using busing to help with desegregation. And this wasn’t a one-time thing… Biden went on to support other similar measures.
#2: Bragging about working with segregationists
There have certainly been plenty of racist segregationists in Congress over the years. And, without a doubt, it was necessary sometimes to work with these racists to get legislation passed.
But who in the world would brag about such a thing?
Joe Biden.
Biden drew the ire of his fellow Democrats for bragging at a New York City fundraiser about working with segregationist senators James Eastland of Mississippi and Herman Talmadge of Georgia to “get things done.”
As a point of reference, Eastland made a speech opposing African Americans participating in combat in World War II. And Biden bragged about collaborating with him.
#1: Cleaning up Obama
And who could forget this quote from Biden when Barack Obama first announced his candidacy for president?
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
How can Biden let those words out of his mouth without realizing that they’re racist? The fact that he doesn’t realize it … or doesn’t care … tells you everything you need to know about him.
Now, of course, Biden supporters will tell you that he’s apologized for many of his racially insensitive comments and actions.
But why do they keep happening … over and over again?
That’s a question that needs to be asked. And, right now, nobody in the mainstream media is asking it.
