The controversy behind presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s “special” relationship with Ukraine just got even bigger.

Now, American voters are getting a direct listen to what Biden was telling Ukrainian leaders about firing a prosecutor investigating his son.

And the audio records has some critics calling the call a clear bribe attempt.

Recordings of phone calls between Biden and the former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was leaked earlier this week by Ukrainian lawmakers.

The secret recordings contain explosive proof that Biden pressured Poroshenko into removing a General Prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, in exchange for $1 billion, critics say.

You can listen to the audio recording below:

“Yesterday, I met with the General Prosecutor Shokin,” Poroshenko told Biden during the Feb. 28, 2016 phone call. “And despite of the fact that we didn’t have any corruption charges, we don’t have any information about him doing something wrong … I especially asked him to resign.”

“Tell me that there is a new Prosecutor General,” Biden says later in the call. “I am prepared to do a public signing of the commitment for the billion dollars [in U.S. aide].”

In a phone call two months later, Biden can be heard saying, ” … congratulations on getting the new Prosecutor General … But congratulations on installing the new Prosecutor General, it’s going to be critical for him to work quickly to repair the damage Shokin did.”

“And I’m a man of my word,” Biden said. “And now that the new Prosecutor General is in place, we’re ready to move forward to signing that new one billion dollar loan guarantee.”

The leaked call quick went viral.

What is your opinion?

Was this just an innocent phone call, or full-blown bribery and corruption?

Was this a perfect phone call?
