President Barack Obama says a Tennessee high school football player who was killed shielding three female friends from gunfire died a hero.
In a Twitter post on Sunday, Obama said: “Zaevion Dobson died saving three friends from getting shot. He was a hero at 15. What’s our excuse for not acting?”
Obama has lobbied Congress unsuccessfully for tighter gun laws since the deadly mass shooting three years ago at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
Knoxville, Tennessee, police say Dobson, a 15-year-old sophomore, was killed last week as several men went on a shooting spree in the city.
One of the men later died from injuries. Two others were arrested, though one was released after being questioned.
Obama commented during his annual Christmas vacation in Hawaii.

This young man was a rare breed now days. Too bad he had to die to prove his bravery. Rest in peace young brother.
On a related note……Guess it’s time to up-armor the family cars and trucks if the traitors in DC manage to get control over weapons. Have to have something to do battle with the enemy. Yeah, I know that lots of people think this comment is not realistic, but get ready folks……The time is closer than you think. I’ll be very surprised if Oblamo leaves office, peacefully.
Amazing how he immediately makes a statement when a young black man does something good praising him, when they riot and act like animals nothing and if this was a young white man, nothing. he was a heroic young man, that certainly is so but whomever did the crime is responsible, not the gun alone. Americans will never let him alter the 2nd amendment. Ever.
If this young man had been responsibly trained in the use of firearms and had been carrying one himself, he may well have saved his own life as well. Criminals will ALWAYS be able to get weapons. All it takes is money and knowing the right sources. And with money, those sources will ALWAYS be a part of our society. Without armed criminals how could the “powers that be” pull off all these “shock and awe” episodes to corral the sheeple off to their ultimate slaughter houses? Obama doesn’t really care about tis kid, but it does help that he is a Black kid. I do agree that this young man acted very heroically and his sacrifice should be noted and rewarded. The only thing Obama cares about is his desire to confiscate firearms. The thugs that shot this young man certainly did not follow any laws when getting these firearms and no matter how many laws are passed, people like this will still have firearms.

Why does Obama have to smear and discrase the name of Zaevion Dobson by making his totalitarion, communist spin. He should just say that Zaevion Dobson is a true hero and we all should amire him for what he did and to tell our children about it.
