Hillary Clinton was just destroyed by rising conservative star

Rising conservative star Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-T.X., shot back at Hillary Clinton on Tuesday with a fact-based response that left social media users stunned.

Monday on Twitter, the former secretary of state shared a Washington Post story criticizing President Donald Trump’s administration and its response to the coronavirus threat.

“It took 70 days for Trump to treat the coronavirus not as a distant threat or harmless flu strain well under control, but as a lethal force poised to kill tens of thousands of citizens,” Hillary’s tweet said, quoting the article.

“Replace this man in November,” she added.

Crenshaw fired back the next day, quoting three Washington Post stories from January downplaying the threat from the Wuhan virus.

He also included a post from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., celebrating the president’s impeachment with commemorative pens. Crenshaw said the Democrats completely ignored the threat while Trump acted to stop the flow of potential infections from China.

“Denial? From the man who restricted travel in January & saved lives, while your party celebrated his impeachment?” Crenshaw said.

“You may be confusing him with the Washington Post, telling America to get a grip, that COVID19 wasn’t scary, and that we should be wary of an aggressive govt response,” he continued.

On Monday, Crenshaw appeared earlier this week on Fox News to share a message of hope and resolve for America.

The former Navy SEAL said the “American Spirit” would defeat the deadly pandemic, and said the way to victory in the “big mission” was for individuals to focus on “a series of smaller missions.”

“Maybe that’s supporting your local business. Maybe that’s making sure that you wash your hands and cover your face any time you are in public interacting with other people,” Crenshaw said. “The American Spirit really is about personal responsibility and accountability.”

“Not asking what can be done for us. But asking what more we can do,” he said on “Fox and Friends.” “We’ve forgotten that John F. Kennedy quote to such an extraordinary degree and I think this is the time to remember it.”

“My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country,” he said, quoting Kennedy.

“The more we understand about this virus, the more empowered we actually are,” he said. “Instead of always waiting for somebody to help us, Americans should remember the American Spirit.”
