Fox News drops 2020 bombshell

Fox News star Tucker Carlson said late Monday that the 2020 Democratic field was a mess.

Amid the chaos, Carlson made a bombshell prediction.

Carlson says Sen. Bernie Sanders, I.V.T., is making some very good points — and said it’s going to help Sanders win the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

The conservative pundit pointed to Sanders’ recent criticism of former Vice President Joe Biden and his policy on Iraq in 2003.

“Joe Biden voted and helped lead the effort for the war in Iraq,” Sanders said. “Joe Biden voted for the disastrous trade agreements like NAFTA and permanent normal trade relations with China which cost us millions of jobs.”

“It’s an interesting moment,” Carlson said. “Unlike all of what you hear these people yell at each other, and at you — racism, sexism … those are legitimate criticisms.”

Biden has refused to fire back at his primary opponent.

“You’re not going to get me into a fight with Bernie,” Biden said earlier this week. He laughed off Sanders challenge, saying: “Bernie’s got enough baggage.”

“Yeah, squint, chuckle. Dismiss it as immaterial,” Carlson said. “Joe Biden has it exactly backward.”

“Baggage? Sanders has the least baggage of any Democrat in this race, believe it or not,” Carlson said. He claimed Sanders was the “least beholden” to the Democratic elite.

“He’s made it clear for years that he wants to overturn the entire American system,” Carlson said.

“Now that’s appalling, without precedent, but keep in mind that this is a country where a lot of people are suddenly fed up with the system,” he continued. “Because of that, Sanders’ position gives him power.”

Because of that, Carlson predicted Sanders will likely win the 2020 Democratic nomination — and would be President Donald Trump’s most dangerous opponent in the general election.

“At this point, he’s the most credible change candidate in the Democratic party and in 2020, that could make him the most formidable challenger,” Carlson said.
