CNN has VERY good news for Trump voters (surprising!)

President Donald Trump just received some good news from a very unexpected source: CNN.

The liberal network’s latest polls reveal “massive movement” toward Trump as the 2020 race for the White House heats up.

Seems like years of anti-Trump messaging from CNN hosts such as Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, and Chris Cuomo have had the exact opposite effect.

They’re not only losing viewers as ratings plunge… Trump’s also gaining voters.

The new poll shows the president rapidly consolidating support and making up ground against every potential Democratic candidate including former Vice President Joe Biden as well as senators Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

“This is massive movement towards the president of the United States, at least in our poll at this particular point,” CNN political analyst Harry Enten admitted on the air just before Christmas.

Where an October poll on CNN showed each Democrat running ahead, the new one just out in December shows Trump rapidly closing the gap.

“Back in October, Biden was up by 10, so his lead has been cut in half,” Enten noted. “Bernie Sanders was up by nine, his lead has been cut by more than a half.”

One-time media darling Pete Buttigieg, who was leading Trump in the previous poll, has now fallen behind the president.

Enten said Democrats’ favorability ratings are falling and the president’s popularity is rising – and the reason is most likely the poll’s finding that 76 percent rate the economy as good.

“That is, in fact, the best numbers we’ve had of not just this past decade, but the last decade,” Enten said.

Of course, CNN’s polls have been consistently biased against the president.

The network’s infamous 2016 “Poll of Polls” showed Hillary Clinton handily beating Trump right up to Election Day, and since then the numbers for Trump have only gotten worse despite the win.

Trump himself has slammed the efforts by CNN and others in the mainstream as “suppression polling,” or attempts to discourage his supporters so they don’t bother voting.

“One of the greatest and most powerful weapons used by the Fake and Corrupt News Media is the phony Polling Information they put out,” he wrote in September. “Many of these polls are fixed, or worked in such a way that a certain candidate will look good or bad. Internal polling looks great, the best ever!”

Over the summer, Trump tweeted:

The Fake News has never been more dishonest than it is today. Thank goodness we can fight back on Social Media. Their new weapon of choice is Fake Polling, sometimes referred to as Suppression Polls (they suppress the numbers). Had it in 2016, but this is worse … The Fake (Corrupt) News Media said they had a leak into polling done by my campaign which, by the way and despite the phony and never ending Witch Hunt, are the best numbers WE have ever had. They reported Fake numbers that they made up & don’t even exist. WE WILL WIN AGAIN!

Indeed, other polls show just what Trump has predicted: The voters are turning to him.

One just released by Zogby Analytics shows Trump’s approval rating surging ahead to 50 percent. More significantly for 2020, it shows him ahead of every single Democratic contender nationwide.

And yet another new poll shows Trump beating all of his potential 2020 rivals in the key states of Florida and Virginia, with the exception of Biden. But in both cases, the margin is slim and neither candidate tops 50 percent.

Other contenders, however, are facing a steep climb. Trump leads Warren in Florida by 9 points, and is ahead of Sanders in Virginia by 6.

And these numbers are, of course, before the heat of a campaign – when voters learn more about the candidates.

In the case of Trump, there’s little left for voters to learn. He’s battle-tested after a bruising 2016 campaign and the relentless media attacks since. His qualities are known to both supporters and detractors alike, meaning his support levels are unlikely to drop.

His rivals however, still have to face that gauntlet of attention – and support levels could plunge as voters learn more, for example, about the allegations surrounding the Biden family in Ukraine or Warren’s pattern of deceptive claims about herself, her career and her family.

In other words, the “massive movement” toward Trump noted by CNN could be only the beginning.
