Fox News star Sean Hannity revealed a new trend last week that’s sweeping-up American voters — and the numbers contain a chilling warning for all patriots.
The values of religion, family, and patriotism have all plummeted among voters, according to a new poll from Wall Street Journal/NBC News.
When this WSJ/NBC survey began 21 years ago, it showed that Americans valued hard work, patriotism, their religion, and having children. Voters across the political aisle said all four were critically important to them.
Now, only hard work remains at the top of the list among millennials.
“What does it all mean?” Hannity said last Monday. “It means that as younger Americans feel less and less patriotic, they’re also turning towards socialism.”
Among voters aged 55 and older, nearly 80 percent said patriotism was very important. But only 42 percent of voters ages 18-38 said the same thing — a nine percent drop.
The value of religion plummeted 12 percent, according to the poll.
The importance of having a family fell a jaw-dropping 16 percent.
It’s a trend being led by the far-left who are systematically targeting American youth, Hannity said — and it’s not just the children of liberals that are being affected.
“In fact, the views of Democrats over age 50 were more in line with those of younger Republicans than with younger members of their own party,” Wall Street Journal reporter Chad Day wrote of the results.
“In other words, far-left professors seem to sadly be achieving their goal of indoctrinating our young kids into their socialist radical beliefs,” Hannity said.
“In many ways, patriotism is actually what should unite all of us. It’s why millions of people from all over the world are dying to live here, become a part of our American family. We are blessed to live in the United States of America,” he said.
“Ronald Reagan once pointed out many decades ago freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction,” Hannity said.
“That poll tells me we might be in jeopardy.”
